What would you do if you had $55 million dollars?

I just read an article on People.com that Soulja Boy just bought a Gulf Stream G5 Jet for $35 million and is pimpin’ it out to total $55 mill! WTF?!? 1) is he still relevant, 2) where’d this money come from, 3) why does he need a jet that expensive, 4) did someone (like his PARENTS or Manager) tell him that was a bad investment, and 5) is he still relevant?!?

I mean, I daydream OFTEN of what I would do if I had that kind of money! I’d retire, purchase a few homes around the world, travel, shop, get a personal trainer (you know, the ones that drag your a$$ out of bed and stay on you like a drill sergeant), break my family & friends off a little somethin’ proper (only the ones that are near & dear…and that I actually have a relationships with), take care of my God kids, think of things to invest some of the money into, and just relax! Now, I think I can do all of that with less than $55 million and still have money to put in the bank for a rainy day!

RUSH. KILL. DESTROY. STRESS.

lately, these days have been mentally & physically draining! i can’t even describe what i’m feeling without offending anyone! i need a massage. i need some retail therapy. i needs me some alone time. i need a drank. i need to get mellow. i need a vacation. i need to win the lotto. there’s not enough calgone in the world that can take me away! UGHHHHH!!!

what did peeps do before the internet? i remember writing my very first email on an old macintosh computer, like the one pictured below. now the ipad is as thin and small as a 8 1/2” x 11” piece of paper. i remember creating my first email account on hotmail and even had an aol account (“you’ve got mail”)! those were the days…and seems so long ago! dial up on our giant dell desktop was the worst, though. that sh*t was WAY slow!

now, it seems the world is so reliant on their smart phones. you can call, text, surf, blog, map, etc. all in one device! genius, i tell you, genius! if only i bought stock in the little apple product when i had a chance!

to blog or not to blog…

…that is the question! 

ok, i’ve been wanting to start a blog for a while now and since i gave up fb and twitter for lent this year, i thought this might be the perfect time (plus i need something to do with my down time at work)! even though this is still a form of social networking…it doesn’t count if i’m only following my hubby & daughter, right? i also got inspired since i just got an invite to follow my old high school friend, sharon, on wordpress. hell, if she can do it, so can i!
